Default Dash noise while idling - maybe speedometer

I have a 2000Dak V-6 with AT, and when I come to a stop, I get a creekyrattlingnoise in my dash. As soon as I let up on the gas, the noise goes away. While I'm slowing down, no noise. As soon as my truck comes to a stop, the rattle begins. Any ideas?

BTW - Great forum. Everyone seems really cool.

Default RE: Dash noise while idling - maybe speedometer

Every truck is going to gave its shares of noises. I know mine is the same way, a lot of it is the way the dash is held together. The tabs with the felt pieces just don't last all too long, some of mine are gone due to putting in the stereo myself, once someone usually take the dash apart it all starts, so at an idle I get a small rattle. Hell even new cars have some rattles. You might be able to listen to which area its coming from and try to fix it.
