Default Comments on a "newer" buy..

Hello Guys,

Just wondering if you guys think 4 of these with rubber are worth $400?

Right now I have the 15" base model wheel. The ones in the picture are 16's and look a bit better than the ones I have right now. (more less buying just to have a second set of wheels)

Thanks,

It's really not a bad deal at all, considering that most stock wheels go for about $250 a pop......if you were buying them from a dealer or even some replacement shops....it's all a matter of what you want though.

Becareful with the width. I have a factory set that is 1" wider then the stock ones that came with the truck with no difference in offset. They are just enough to make the inner lip of the wheel rub the outer tie rod end at full lock.

If they are the same width then no issue there.

Also,I dont know if they are heavier, but if so it will be more unsprung wieght for your V6 to have to move.

Cool... Thanks for the quick responses and tips!

I was thinking it was a decent deal for factory wheels, I'm going to try and beat him down a little when I meet him . I originally wanted the R/T wheels but I'm having a hard time finding them in Canada.

From the looks of the tire size on them, I would say they are a little wider which I was hoping for anyway. But I don't think that will matter as I am only 2WD.

If you're really mainly interested in just getting an extra set of wheels, you could probably find a better deal. The 15" rims generally go for about 200 a set with rubber. They're not particularly hard to find off craigslist or ebay for that price. It really depends on what you want for your truck.

I'd offer $350 for them... depending on how old the tires are. if the tires are shot, then I wouldnt go over $150... judging from the pic though, they look to be in good shape. If you dont rush into it, you will find a deal sooner or later. check craigslist.org for you area...
