lookin for a lift kit for my 03. i havnt found much& i hate body lifts.im runin 285/75r16s rite now with a tortion bar crank.i wana run some wide 35s.Any info on wheel adapters/spacers for my truck would also be valuable because with wider tires come new rims>.the truck has the 4.7 and a 5speed auto if that is any help.

as some of our beloved members would say... search it... and no 35's wont fit under a dak with just a t-bar crank, and peronally i wouldnt run any higher then 33's cause you run the risk of putting a lot of stress on the transmission, causing it to overheat and wiping out everything inside

The 5 speeds are pretty solid. if you have the nv 3500 . For fitting the 35's do a 3-6" lift to fit them nicely. And for the wideness get some offset rims.

the only lift kits for these trucks is a 5.5" tuff country lift or crank the T bars and do a body lift. a 3" body should stuff 35's with a bit of trimming.

i already hav the tortion bars cranked and it only rubs a lil with my skinny tires. is the tuff country lift a good lift or should i just wait? im not putin on a body lift. oh and the truck has the towing package with a tranny cooler so im not real woried about burnin it up.

I dont wanna seem stupid but when you say trim what are you trimming? My tires are less than an inch from the frame rails when fully cut. Are my tires to small to see what needs to be trimmed? And what kind of offset are we talking about to get 33x12.5 or 35x12.5 to fit and not rub?

Trim the wheel well a bit (Or anywhere the tires might rub/do rub.) For the Offset id got with like 2 inch. The only draw back is your tires stick out.

tuff country does not make a lift for a 03 or 04 dakota

A 3" lift will not handle 35" tires in the front. I have a 3" suspension lift in the front and my 33"s still rub at full crank if I hit a bump or am backing up. 35"s? forget it. 5-6" minimum to fit them.

Doea anybody know if there is a kit for the 04? I've been looking with no luck. Thought I might even find strut spacers, but nothing.
