Default Drivers Window INOP

OK, i know it is probably around here some where, but it is quicker to ask..........

We had an ice storm the other day...
I went to roll my drivers window down the next day after everything had thawed off.
Well it must not have thawed enough and the mechanism must have been worn enough
on my 02 QC Dakota, because the window will not roll up and down now. I hear the motor
turning, but not engaging the window.

Before I get into it,how long and how hard to fix this?

thanks in advance

could just be that the window popped off the track not to hard to fix get take off the door panel and you can see if the track is still hooked onto the window or not if thats waht it is and it just popped off all you need to do is get some silicon caulk for glass clean up the spots where it hooks onto the window put some caulk down in the track and hook it back on to the window you should be able to see where it was before then just put it up the whole way and let it cure for a good 24 hours or so...thats what happened to mine and it still vibrates sometiems going up and down but hasn't popped off again yet.
