Need warmer air?

Default Need warmer air?

Why is it my heater could freeze water even after its warmed up. I mean yeah you can tell the heats on but.. Its not as warm as it should be evemn on full heat and full power. My ac was never that Cold either... Please help...

You may need a new thermastat!
I dont think that is the word i am looking for... It is in your coolent lines next to your water pump... SORRY JUST WOKE UP!

Its a 180. Brand new. i changed it with my waterpump and bypass hose.

I changed it in summer so i dont recall. A Buddy of mine says something about a bleeder line that could be bled that causes this? I dont know im the furthest thing from a mechanic....

Suggestions? Things to check?

is your temp around 180 otherwise i was going to say, that maybe it is a bad thermostat....

flush out your heater core, sounds like poor circulation, theres a how to sticky note ontop of the dakota 2nd gen forum

second that, I had the same problem. Flushed it out. Make sure you do a good job, and flush the whole system too. Otherwise it will clog right back up. Mine never heated, did it once, heated for 3 days than it plugged back up flushed in summer 3 times to make sure it was good. This time It still works.
