I was wondering why my quad cab sport sat higher than the extended cabs I've looked at. Some of which I couldn't even tell if they were 4wduntil I looked in or under them. Wonder if the sport and SLT have different suspensions?
As to the origional question, the higher curb weight of the quad cab would increase the preload on the suspension and would sit a little lower on an identical suspension, as well as push the center of gravity rearward, which would take a little angle out of the rake, whcih makes it look even lower. As for the sport, I saw one today that had the same stance as my R/T so it may have the "sport-tuned" suspension.
