2 - 3 shift?

RE: 2 - 3 shift?
right now it'd only doing it when it's not warmed all the way up..although i'm noticing it stilldoes it warm but it catches REAL quick.
When i take it in for the steering column recall, should i eat the 75 dollar labor charge and have them look into it or check with the local oil/repair depot (whom we have an account with from my dad's month oil changes) and see if they're cheaper? the CEL isn't on at any point so a computer scan would be pointless unless the transmission mangement computer doesnt forward errors to the ECM and dashboard?

Funny this would come up as we are talking about a related item on my '99. Mine was doing the same thing. I just got it back from the tranny shop and it was a failing seal. I can't remember which one he said. Only did it when it was cold. Good news:just a few bucks for the parts. Bad news:about 10 hours labor. This may not be the case with yours. Hope you get lucky and it turns out to be a little thing.

well, turns out the fluid level was WELL above the zig-zag part of the stick, so we hooked the shop vac up and sucked a ton of fluid out (till it was in the middle of the crosshatch) then dumped the bottle of lucas in.
MUCH better. still does it, but it catches a heckuva lot quicker (not even 100 RPM as upposed to 5-700 before). The tach barely moved between shifts.
