Default Truck stalled in reverse!!!

Hello all. Back again with another little problem i need help figuring out. Heres what happened. I was leaving my girlfriends house and i started my truck. Sat for like 20 seconds, and put it in reverse. had to turn the truck to swing the front end to the right so i could leave. I went to swteer the truck to the right and i couldnt steer it. I looked at the tach cause the music was playin and i could hear the truck and it was at 0. So, i said to myself, "wow, i stalled an automatic" Ha. So, i started it back up and it started just fine and ran fine. I'm a little confused on this one. Any help/advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Happened to me before. Truck stalled in the tim hortons drive through . Started right back up fine. Just threw in some redline injector cleaner (haven't done it in a while) and it worked fine. What i've been told is not to fuel up at not well known gas stations. Fill up a shell, petro canada, flying j, places like that.

Same thing happened to me a few months ago. I was backing up my 04 4.7 doing a 3 point turn and I hit the steering bump stop kinda hard as I was cranking the wheel. Truck stalled right out and I too didn't notice because of the tunes. It started right up and has been fine since. No worries.

check your power steering fluid level, if its low it can cause extra resistance to the engine especially at low RPM's. also clean your throttle body.

moe in wichita kansas
how about a touqeconverter lock up? trans fuild low? dont forget the line pressure goes to about 300 in rev, if the idle drops to low there may not be enough pressure to keep the converter from loocking up?
