I'm thinking of doing some exhaust upgrading since the pipes on there have lived about long enough. From the pics they look pretty nice.

for a little bit more you can get the coated eddy headers i think the painted ones are about $200. dont go cheap on headers

You will most likely run into fitment/seal/gasket problems. Cheap headers are 9.9 times out of 10 just that, cheap.

yea i would not do it just because of the fact that it is a 2 bolt flang and not a 3 bolt flang

i wouldnt do it either for the simple fact those header bolts can easily snap in the block if your not careful, i wouldnt do it personaally, unless i had the engine on a stand and i was rebuilding it

I think the second set has a 3 bolt pattern.
As far as cheap sets go, I have had some bad luck with expensive and cheap headers in the past. It's a crapshoot sometimes.
I have been reading about the Gibson's being some of the best.


Has anyone gone to a full length set-up? That's something else I have been considering. It might be the easiest and best gain.
