heater problems
i have a 97 5.2 that i bought 2 years ago that only blew cold air. over summer i flushed the system, replaced water pump, replaced thermostat, and replaced the heater core. the heater now blows warm air, but not hot enough. on a 40 or 50 degree day, it is somewhat comfortable, but on 30 or below, i just freeze.
is there something that i am missing? help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: heater problems
Did you do the heater core flush or a full system flush? If you flushed the whole system without forcing water directly through your heater core it may not have cleaned it out well enough, I just had do do that to my truck and after doing the heater core my heater works great.
Here is the method I used... https://dodgeforum.com/m_690541/tm.htm
Good luck

RE: heater problems
blackdak, not to steal your thread but I am having issues with my truck as well (99 Dakota 3.9). However, I think I have it narrowed down. I back flushed the heater core...twice! I was only blowing cold air maybe lukewarm. I was told to place a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator and if it got warmer it was the thermostat...however, I did that and the temp gauge went way above 210 but the air was still cold. [:@] What gives?? Is it simply the thermostat??!! Thanks!
