im looking to upgrade my 2000 4.7Ldakota quad-cab but im having trouble getting the rite information...i want a cold air intake, a profprmance chip(bypass the gov.),magnaflow(biggest HP foot lb. gain), headers??????(cant find any),and . . . . . .anything else i can get to add lil HP with lil cash

 

you can get a set of jba smog legal headers or hedman headers for between $5-6 hundred new but i think they are short tube so you might not get good power from them. i would recommend takin the truck to a muffler shop where they can do custom work to make everything from the manifolds back bigger. 3" tubing all the way through, high flow cat and a cat-back exhaust system. you mentioned magnaflow but they only make a single side exit for the 4.7 trucks just so you know. k&n makes good intakes too. good luck

 

im gonna put a aem brute force on my 5.2. and gibson header. u could do the exhaust work your self if u had somebody to bend the tubing for u it would be alot cheaper
