grease the slugs? the shipping grease goes to hell quick..

 

on my dually we had a line come parat internally also.

also, the proportioning valve is something i haven't seen mentioned yet.

 

thanks for the help. it was the flex lines. and I had to make a new brake line on the drivers side from the splitter block to the flex line. I didnt bubble flare it. but its not leaking, soit should be fine.

 

I agree that these factory brakes suck. I just put on a new set of 20" wheels and did not realize how big of a strain on the already taxed braking system it would be. On my second day driving it to work I rear ended a big van, fortunately it only did cosmetic damage... bumper, grill, hood, air dam, and lights. So if anyone has any ideas of where to get cheap body parts im in.

 

ya, I noticed a BIG difference when I went to my 32's. but I would try a junkyard for cheap body pannels.

 

I havn't looked into it yet, but is there a brake upgrade kit offered? Did the V8's come with bigger brakes compared to the V6's? Would the brakes off of the Rams be modifieable? or how about another vehicle like the viper? Just some thoughts...
