Default Tire Pressure

I did a couple of different searches using different ways of saying tire pressure. The only things I saw were about making sure your tires were properly inflated. I am looking for what tire pressure I should put my new tires at. The door sticker only shows the 2wd tires, p215/75r15. It says to inflate to 35psi cold. I have P235/75R15 all terrain tires on it now. The sidewall says maximum load at 41psi, which is what the tire dealer inflated them to when they installed them. What pressure is correct? I assume 35 would be better for off-roading but 40psi would be better for mileage. Help?

Thanks in advance.

41 psi seems kinda high. That is not the maximum inflation pressure of the tire, is it? I think I keep my QC 4x4 tires at ~35 psi. A few psi either way doesn't really make much of a difference anyway.

Go with what the tire says. Check them cold.
