No hex nut on steering box??

Default No hex nut on steering box??
I wish to adjust my steering box but there is just a nut on the end of a threaded bolt end. There is no hex on the end to hold the bolt from turning. Am I missing something?

what year dak are you talking about??? you should have rack & pinion in there if '97 & up (not sure about the older ones) download the manual and have a look to see if you can adjust it or not. I just swapped out mine and didnt recall anything that looked like an adjustment.

97-99 has a steering box and 00-04 has rack and pinion. for atleast 4x4's.
