i have an 04 Dakota CC with a 3.7L and i was wondering what i would need to swap it with a 4.7L?

you need an H.O. motor to start with, anything less and you'll have more work for yourself... the H.O. motor has an extra 30hp over the stock 4.7 motor. I would say your best bet is to find a motor tranny combo, get the pcm & wiring harness. those would be your 1st steps...

Ok, if i got all that am i going to need anything else to get it to run. What about the transfer case? also will the driveshaft i have in now fit into the tranny i need?
