Default Headlight aiming

For some reason it seems my headlights are pointed down at the ground and with my hi beams on i can see almost as good as my jeep could with the low beams on. I think i found the spot to aim the headlights but i couldnt get it to screw in or out so can someone please inform me of how to aim the headlights incase im trying the wrong way and any tips on how to do so. I had the headlight out to change the bulbs not sure if that messed with the aiming of it or anything i just want to aim my lights up some so that i can see better with my low beams and high beams. Thanks for any help. I want to crank the t-bars to level it out since this may be causing it a little but that wouldnt happen till at least june so i need a fix for now thanks again.

There should be a screw on the top of the headlights for aiming up and down and also another one on the side to adjust the beam direction horizontally (left or right). I believe its an allen key (pretty sure thats what its called). Pretty simple to do. Just make sure your back from enough from where you are pointing the lights. If your too close then it can really mess up your adjustments. I did this once, pointed my high beams to high so my low beams became my new high beams ha ha. Good luck

Yeah I stripped mine. Then I got pissed off even more because the headlight lens were just really old and yellow. Just got a new set anyways.

i had a car that told in the owners manual how to aim headlights... be parked on a flat surface, the distance from a wall and to measure up from the ground...does anyone know if this will work on dakotas or know the measurements?
