someone on this forum tried to modify the existing throttle cable and I think ended up making it too short so it was always running with a slightly open throttle, I thought about doing that but i didnt want to take the risk of messing it up and not being able to drive my truck for a while. When i get my throttle cable from dodgeparts.com i'll post on wether its the right part or not, that way anyone who has problems finding a new cable will have a place to order it.
