Default helper springs

i'm not asking about what they do, yada yada. but i bought a set awhile back. and somehow i misplaced the directions. i'm not really sure about the install. i know it only takes about 20 minutes. but do the truck need to be lifted? does the weight need to be off the leaf springs? and what are the two points where each u-bolt goes? a quick install brief would be much appreciated. tomorrow i'm putting them on and long with some nitro 9000 rough country shocks i bought and a couple cranks on the t-bar to level the ride.

thanks fellas.

what brand and type are they? There are a lot of different ones out there. You might be able to check the company's website for instructions.

ya, what kind do you have and what do they look like?

mine just bolted to the back half of the leaf spring. and you have to left the truck up with no load on the leaf springs.

some helper springs are actually a whole leaf you have to put between the axle and your stock leafs.

i'll check on the brand. i'm pretty sure that they just bolt to the back of the leaf spring.
