Default manual to auto?

I have the 2.4L 4-cyl. 5-speed
i've been thinking about converting to auto.
are there any trans. that will bolt up?
and what kind of mods might i be looking at to get it to work?

i wouldn't do that unless your gonna get rid of the 4 cyl seems like a waste of money in my opinion

you will ahve even less power if you put an auto slushbox behind that little 4 cyl, idk for sure but i think the jeeps did come with an auto(or do come with one now at least)

it would be a **** ton of work, probably not even worth it. your milage will go way down and you will have even less power. You would have tons of wiring you wouldnt even know what to do with, you would also probably have to change the computer. if you're really that tired of shifting just buy another truck.

it's not just the shifting thats just what i put up
if it's that much work, i won't worry about it
i'm eventually gonna TT this motor, and i'd like to get rid of the shifter when i do my custom interior
but I can work around it easy enough

thanks guys
