Default Intake system

i have a new cone shaped air filter and im looking to put an intake it but i need the pipeing.. it seems like its 2.5 inch pipe. i was looking into using a pvc pipeing but there are not 2.5 inch... any ideas anyone?

PVC is bad.
you could go to a muffler shop and they can cut and bend a pipe for you.

or you could be like me
just mount the cone onto your TB

that second one is waht i plan on doing over the summer right now i just have a abs plastic elbow replacing the stock resonator box(4.7 dont think the 5.2 or 5.9 have it) didn't really notice anything but it howls like a mother now when i romp on it. i also cut the side out of my air box.

i was going to put one of those together myself, but for now i took the tube that goes into the fender at the front of the airbox off and got some 3" flex tubing and ran it straight out the front thru the rubber flap next to the radiator. i am getting cold air right into the tube thru the grill, and i swear i can feel quite a power increase from about 1500 rpm's. my milage went up alot too. so, for now ill just leave it as is. maybe ill try the cone and abs/pvc tubing thing another time...i also found a good link here, something to think about anyway, its easier and cheaper than the cone and tube intake...

i went and got some pipeing and im gunna take a shot at it this sunday and see how it goes... i'll post pics and info once im done.
