2002 Dakota. Get a warning Tone at 20mph?????
Who knows what this audible warning tone is.. Truck gets to 20mph and this tone starts going off. Driving my wife nuts. I checked all the seat belts and turnsignals. But still doing it.
Owners manual says that if you forget to turn the turnsignals off at speeds above 15 mph the alarm will sound. Well the signals are off and going from a dead stop to 20 mph the alarms starts and will stop as soon as the speeds are under 15mph?
Any ideas out there?

Is your check engine light coming on? With the car off turn the key to on, but not to start and then back to off. Repeat. Turn key to on for a third time and leave it there. Watch the odometer. Does it flash any codes? P-XXXX
Thanks for the hits gentlemen!
There are no warning lights on in the dash. Check engine light is not on. Door ajar warning light works, shut the door it goes off like it should. I checked the gas cap door. I tried the off/on with the ignition switch 3 times. no codes. I plugged all the seat belts in and unplugged them. I going to plug a scanner in tonight and see if there are any codes, but........
Truck has 85,000 and well maintained. We have followed the factory tune up schedule even. I'd hate to have to take it to the dealer and get my pants pulled over my head. But then again it's about time for a tune up?
Ahh electronics are so much fun!!!!

just a thought, maybe some problem with the transmission, but not sure why a buzzer would come on once going 20 mph, but not before. My fix crank the tunes. lol
