Yeah, cops over here and can **** about alot of things. If your lights are too blue or purple in color. They get mad. I once got tried for my lights. They wanted me to show them the DOT stamp. Showed them wrong hahah. They honestly have nothing better to do with their time. But oh well. Thanks for all the input guys.

 

What's wrong with Imports?? "Rice" doesn't automatically mean import. Anyone, and any car/truck/SUV, ect can be a ricer, even a domestic. I'd love to own a RHD Integra, Supra, Skyline, or Sylvia. A lot of my friends own imports and none of them I consider a Ricer. One of em has a 1200hp Supra that looks bone stock outside. It's awesome.

Adding a bunch of crap to draw excess attention to yourselfand/or make your vehicle look "fast" without actually being able to back it up IMO is rice. Neons would fall under that category.

 

My wife wants a Mitsubishi Eclipse spyder convertibleBAD. We take our 84 Corvette to local car shows occasionally in the summer, and a spyder came past us like we were sitting still at 60 mph. I couldn't let that happen, so I punched it, and couldn't catch them. I saw the car at the car show we were attending, and drooled at the nitrous set up he had hooked up. All that power and he claimed 25mpg. I kick the Vette down one time and use a 1/4 tank of gas. I'm not sure what year it was, but Nissan Sentra was voted the most American made car in the US within the last couple years. That is the most American made parts used in assembly. Was also reading an article that stated that Toyota is experiencing the worst consumer complaints in years, and upon investigation, it is the units that they are assembling in the US. My wife is a traveling nurse, and this is her third Suzuki. She currently has a 06 Grand Vitara. So far, all three Suzuki's have run 100,000+ miles each with no problems except regular maintenance. The majority of the nurses working out of the same office as she does owns Suzuki's. They all have had equal results. If you've bought a Chevy Tracker, you've bought a Suzuki, and strangely enough, the Chevy Equinox sheet metal is interchangeable with the Suzuki Grande Vitara. Park your GM Canyon or Colorado trucknext to a Isuzu pick up. Yep, same truck. Even our 2004 Harley is 35% imported parts. [:-] I can't down talk Imports. If people in the US wouldn't buy them, there wouldn't be any.
