Default DTC o2 sensor codes

OK this is what I'm getting.

DTC Information Stored Codes P0138 HO2S-12 (Bank 1 Sensor 2) Signal Shorted to Voltage Conditions For Setting This Code: Possible Causes: Monitor Information: [/align] Pending Codes P0141 HO2S-12 (Bank 1 Sensor 2) Heater Circuit Malfunction

I have been getting the P0138 for awhile now but I thought it maybe because of my jet chip, well its not because I took it out. Now the P0141 happened today. Over the weekend I heard from a fellow member about cleaning the 02 sensor with some electric contact cleaner and spraying it into the openings, well it might have done more damage than good. So my assumption is I need a new sensor, is this right or is there anything else I can eliminate? Also I'm not sure if this would have any effect on anything but my exhaust was done by the man who owned the truck before me and he had a new flowmaster exhaust kit put in and it only has one 02 sensor. thanks

I'd check the wiring and see if one of the wires is shorted out (the heated one, possibly white) if this isn't it just replace it.

Only one sensor? is this the sensor that is malfunctioning?

Yeah its the only O2 sensor on my truck and its the one giving me the trouble. The first code is saying its running rich and I have had that for awhile already. The second code just came up today and I probably messed up the heater portion of it with that cleaner, at least thats what I'm thinking.
