Default Passenger Rear Window Regulator

I have a 2001 Dakota Quad Cab and the window regulators went out on both the front and rear passenger side. Needless to say I was floored when the repair place wanted to charge me $700 to fix them. So I have been looking online for OEM replacements. I have no trouble finding the front door regulators but the back window seems to be as elusive as a snipe. I have found it on the mopar wholesale site for just under $200 but it seems nuts when the front ones are only $100 tops. I have yet to find a passenger rear regulator on any other site period, not even ebay. At this rate I switching to roll-up lol. jk. Could someone point me in the right direction?? And no I do not want to puta board under the window.

Thanks

Did you check your local dealership for prices on the regulators not including labor? I know at mine they are usually pretty cheap

I did and they are over $250. The cheapest I've been quoted so far for the rear one is $200 there doesnt seem to a cheaper replacement option. Other than from Mopar wholesalers I have yet to find any kind of replacement for the rear doors. Mopar is definatly making a killing off of these babies.

They both snapped the cable stablizers with in a week of eachother. It was disappointing to say the least. I finally found one thru a salvage yard with a 60 day money back guarantee so I went that route. It was $75 total for the part and shipping. My friend is a body man and will install them for a case of beer so total I'll spend around $150to replace them both. I can say that Im pleased I can replace them for a bit over 20% of the original price the glass place wanted to do it for. Its suprising that the there is no aftermarket replacement for the rear doors on the quad cab dakota and it seems the durango also. Im sure if someone started making them they'd fly off the shelves. Thanks to everyone for their advice. I'll be back for sure when I start putting major work into her.

Thanks
Sarah
