I have a 2002 Quad Cab. My drivers side rear door locks have stopped working. They do not lock or unlock using my key "orb" and do not work using my drivers side (front) master locking switch.
Where should I start and is this something I need to bring to the dreadful dealership.

I dont really know, but i would try to see if there is a short somewhere in the electrical to that door. hope you get it fixed.

 

That happened to my brother on his 03 guad cab. The rear doors have child safety lock over rides. If you open the affecteddoor, right by the latch there is a little lever. It must be, "i think",in the up position or the power locks will not work. If it is up, try pushing it down and see if they work. there should be a sticker that says child protection lock, pull up to engage. Someone may have bumped the lever. I hope it's this simple for you.
