Went out to autozone today and picked up some ventvisors and some stick on bullet holes. finally warm enough here in ohio to wash my truck so i installed the shades and stuck the bullet holes on.

looks good, you'll like those window shades i had them on my dakota too.....wouldnt have a vehicle without them now.

 

what are others opinioons on the visors because i have them and have contemplated taking them off just wanna hear some others pros and cons of them i guess...not tryin to hijack the thread either.

 

From my personal experience-

pros: looks, helps keep the sun out of your eyes, can have the window partially down while raining, supposively helps with wind noise, easy to install

cons: comes loose over time, adds thickness to dodges already thick A-Pillars (visibility)

 

hey craig, did you paint the stock rims black or are those aftermarket?

 

looks good exept for the fake bullet holes...


and I have ventvisors and I like them.

 

i was wondering about the black wheels...did you paint factory wheels?

i have the same shades and dont know if i like em. it seems the wind gets caught in the end and shoots back at my face unless my windows are down about a quarter way. had some on another truck and the back end of them were open so the air went thru them, seemed better that way i think.other than that they are great for rain, and i like how they look too...

the bullet hole stickers arnt my thing, i hate any kind of sticker on my vehicles. to each his own.

 

i bought the truck from a dealer and the rims were black already they are painted a flat black . at first i didnt like them but they grew on me. as for the stickers , my father has bullet holes on his tahoe so i was just paying tribute to him. it took me 42 years to be able to put any kind of a sticker on anything i have ever owned, i look at it like this its my truck and i can takem off if i want too.
as for the ventvisors they are not as thick as the vent shades which i have on my other dakota and i like the vent visors better cuz you can see better when cornering.
