Default Need some Ideas for 4.7

I'm having to pull off the heads to fix one bent valve on 2001 quad cab 4.7. I was thinking since I'm there, I should make some upgrades. I've heard Viper valves will work and improve performance, but not sure exactly. Any tips and or ideas would be greatly helpful. I priced a valve job in town and was shocked, $1500. Whole engine, $2600. I will take my time on this and do it right, just need to get my game plan. Thanks.

Getting stuff machined isn't cheap but it does improve performance, a lot.
