Does any body know what size a stock V8 throttle body is. I am planning on putting a bigger throttle body on my V6.

Are you talking about the inner diameter of the throttle body?

 

they are 50mm bores, stock v6 is 46mm bores.

what about a throttle body spacer for a 4.7? how big are those and do they really make that big of a difference to the performance/ fuel mileage on the truck?

 

Throttle body spacers are a waste of time. I was going to put one on my 4.7, but when a buddy said he was going to put one on his, I opted out to wait and see how his worked. He said it was a waste of money, and eventually took it off. He noticed no change in anything after installing it. There are a lot of posts on here to back up the same results.
