here is a pic of a rim i am not sure if its powder coated or painted but whoever did it, did a real nice job. like i said in some prev post i bought the truck and the rims and tires are as i got it.

looks like a good job, i like how the wheel weight was still left on the rim whle it was being painted

 

my rims are the same, only i did the center caps too.

 

since the wheel weight is painted too. then the previous owner just painted them, a powdercoater would have taken them off.

 

i thought the same thing when i saw the pic, someone just painted those with the weights still on...any thoughts on just painting them? what kind of paint and prep should be done to make them stay looking nice? my truck is my only vehicle so i cant take them off and send my wheels out for a week to get painted or powdercoated
