Default Clunking/squeaking from front end

Hey ive got a 2000 club cab 4x4 with the 4.7. Im getting a clunking noise from the front drivers side every once in a while over bumps, but mostly through turns. It is also squeaking from that side, and i can feel a slight grinding feeling in the brake pedal once in a while, but not at the same time as the clunking, although that might be unrelated. Im going to change the brake fluid this weekend so i'll get back to you on that one. I noticed that the backing plate for the caliper was rubbing the inside of the wheel a few months back, so i got that fixed when i took it in to get lifetime pads (cant beat $150 for them). It almost sounds as if the problem is back, but there isnt any scoring on the wheel like there was last time. I had the upper ball joints replaced as per the recall, and the lower ball joint on that side was done when they noticed it was loose when i took it in for the ball joint replacement. The IFS on Dodge's arent my strong point, im used to Chevy's lol.

Default RE: Clunking/squeaking from front end

So I went for a 2 hour drive today, the clunking has gotten noticably worse. I notice it quite often now, which is starrting to worry me[sm=confused06.gif]I dont really want to take it in, last time i did that it was $400 for a lower balljoint. If its something like a bushing i wouldnt mind doing it myself, as long as i dont need any specialty tools.
