Default BRAKES please help

ok, i got my pass. front brakes apart, but i can't get the caliper compressed enough to get it onto the rotor.
also, the inside pad was worn completely through the pad down to metal, but the outside one was barely worn at all.
is this a seized caliper problem? i know both pads are supposed to wear the same.

and it's important i get this done by sundown.
please help me out

How was the inner pad on the drivers side ? If it wasn't down to the metal like the passenger side, I'd inspect the caliper on the passenger side further. It may be sticking. For what a rebuilt one costs, their not worth messing with.
