Any suggestions daughter has a 2001 Dodge Dakota 4.7 litre truck

It has been at the garage for a week now.. Daughter was driving and it quit on her.. Towed it back to town

Mechanic checked out and thought for sure it was PCM module (ouch) replaced it and it still will not fire
He said he checked crank shaft sensor and timing chain NOTHING

I am not sure but he said he was on the phone all day with Tech Support and no suggestions

ANYONE HAVE ANY HELP

Thanks in advance

Not sure whats on the 4.7's I would guess a simple fuse, something is not getting power. Hook it up to computer it will usually tell you rather than guessing...

I believe the 4.7 has a coil for each cyl, so thats out of the ?, so something before the ecu... wire or fuse or relay.

We're assuming that its a competent shop that checked for spark, air and fuel first right?

When that happened to our Ford truck, it ended up being a fusible link supplying the computer circuit. Did not show up on our diagnostics test. Pain to find
