Default Performance Upgrades?

Looking for advise on adding reliable horsepower; Have K&N CAI, and that's about it so far... that is. Was thinking of V-8 Thottle Body and linkage set up. Then maybe the HarlandSharpe 1.7 Roller Rockers.

One big question to make it somewhat realiable and consistent for some dragstrip use is... What can be done with the automatic? Seems to have a rev limiter of sorts that won't allow full throttle shifts from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd??? Very Annoying!

Lastly would be a possible 2/3 or 2/4 drop. But will I have any issues running 255/45-17's?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You can always get headers and a free flowing exhaust. Always helps a bit

I'm considering getting a tow strap with a large hook on it to improve my highway mileage. I figure when a semi comes flying by. I can throw the hook to catch on it's bed, and it can pull me. Now if I can just figure out how to unattach it from the semi ???

quick release on the tow hook should work just make the cable a little longer than the strape. How much would a ticket cost, or being killed by the driver?
