Default v8 Throttle Body

I know this is asked a lot and it has not much to do with the other ones. I know You gain top end. But I was wondering what RPM's? 3k and up? Or what?

Also is the 5.9 the same as the 5.2 throttle body?

Chris

the question does make sense, and yes 5.2/5.9 98-03 are the same throttle body. you will need a dakota v8 throttle cable 98-03 or it wont work. the gains you will notice will be mostly in the upper RPM's.

umm mine seems to respond much better about 3k and up, but remember i have a stage one intake manifold from hughes with 12' runners so you might get a little more than me below 3k. my truck seems to have no low end, which is why im changing to 4:10's in the spring.

Hah yea, if it started out at 2k it wouldn't be too bad I also need the acceleration on the highway, if I was going to keep this truck I would buy 1.7 rockers though. I wish I could pinpoint my exhaust leak all I hear is tick tick, all the time...
