tire pressure debate
i have done a search on here and on a couple search engines and nobody seems to have a definate answer as to what tire pressures work best...they get too technical about loads and ambient temps. also it seems to be about 50/50 to inflate to what the tire says vs. what the door sticker says...i know different sizes require different pressures so i cant go by what the door says...my sticker says to set215/75-15's at 35psibut i have 31x10.5x15. the tire says max load at 50psi which i think is way too high for normal driving so i put them at 40psi...ill see how that works i guess
i would like to know what you all set your tires at with just average daily driving for best wear and mileage, not hauling anything or towing anything.

RE: tire pressure debate
Your proper pressure for 31x10.50s is 35 psi in front tires and 41 psi in the rear tires. I also have a Dakota that came stock with 31s while the door sticker does say 215/75R15. And, my information comes from a Michelin MAST Fitment Guide, which is basically the bible for tires.
