Default Body Lift Noise

Ever since I installed by body lift (2002 Dakota 4x4) about 8 months ago there has been constant noise when i go over bumps and such. I think its due to the lack of any kind of rupper dampening between the bed blocks and the body/frame. Any insight to how I can fix this would be great, thanks.

tighten the bolts? Maybe. Sounds like something is coming loose you shouldn't have anything moving. It should be very snug... You could also take some like rubber tubing or rubber and place it between the frame as long as it doesn't mess with the lift.... or allow anything to slide.

As long as you used both the upper and lower body bushings with the body lift, there should be no noise coming from the lift, as long as the bolts are tight. The body used to sit hard on top of each upper bushing (sits between the frame rail and the cab). Now the body sits hard on top of the lift block, which sits hard on top of each upper bushing. So nothing here has really changed except for the height of the cab.
