Realistic curb weight on a 4x4 5spd 4.7
Here is the deal I know you guys think I'm nuts, but I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to configure a Truck, plus single car trailer, plus an average car (say up to 3750lbs) could weigh in at 10,000 lbs or less.
So what I am looking for is the most heavy duty of "light" trucks. I don't really care if it's a Dodge or a Toyota but the Dakota seems to be what I have come up with. Please do not hesitate to mention other makes.
The reason is that @ 10,000 lbs commercial insurance regulations go down to 300k from 750k and hours of service requirements do not exist. It would make hauling for hire as a PART TIME gig possible.
For example if truck is 4500, trailer 2500, leaves only 3000... Not enough.
