i cant find my question about jet chips help!
hi all
i was searching and maybe im not using the right words so here is my question
i heard some rumours about jet chips and when u put them in, a short time later the computer resets itself...
is this true?
i own a 2004 dak with a 3.7L and im looking for some more torque and some more hp
i want to both add the fastman tb and the jet as well as a kn drop in filter
after i do that ill be moving to the exhaust
will i see a good torque increase?
thanks for the help!

Dont use Chips.. The PCM Overrides them overtime.. and wont work.
Bigger TB on a on the 3.7 = Better Highend Power, small decrease in Low end power.. if your looking for low end torque this wont help you..
Exhuast depends on your Pipe Size and headers.. bigger exhuast will also show high gains on topend, rather then lowend..
Get a Superchip/Hypertech programmer they work alot better then the chips..
Air Fitler works good.. wont notice a huge gain but everything helps in the long run.
If you did...
Headers/Exhuast
TB
Programmer
Intake
all at once you will probably notice a diffrence on the highway and little less power on your lowend RPMS..
you can always do gears in the rearend to make it have that quick off the line start..
or just get the 5.2 or 5.9 or CTD and then have fun with all the Torque and Upgrades..

hmmm will a hypertech programmer work with the 3.7L in an 04 dak?
hmm i just took my 351W f150 out for a spin and man that thing was gutless on the lower end...or in general
i was surprised!
anyways gearing will i have 3.92's already lol
well thats a start anyways but my one question is like i said
will the hypertech programmer work with my engine/truck?

hmm looks like they only go up to 03...
on hyper and super..
I just use the Mopar PCM for the 5.9 R/T had the hypertech for awhile..
Might want to see if you can just get your PCM flashed later when you do more mods to the truck.. dont waste your money on a chip..

so where could i go and do that?
like a performance shop? or something along those lines...
i havent heard much about that cause i was never into the tuning scene really just recently
so basically stick to the air filter, tb, exhaust for now and then look at getting the pcm flashed
