you only need to change the post cat o2 and also even a bad wheel allignment or low tire psi can cause this, also sticking caliper (s)

ok. where do you suggest i get the sensors from? i was thinking of going to napa auto and ordering some. also, do you think there is a real performance difference between "ebc 4x4 suv pads" and pads they would sell at a auto parts store? i do wheel my truck sometimes but i havent lately. i figure as long as im turning my rotors i will put some fresh pads on

i would try and get ceramic pads, somepeople here have them and say the make less dust and stop better than the regular pads, and when you get the o2 sensors, make sure you get the ones w/ a plug on them so that you dont have to splice wires

like everyone else said something is probably wrong cuz i can still get 15-17 running it hard and then cruising most of the time with numbers in the 20-22 range on the highway in the summer. i also have a 5 speed as well.

obviously something is wrong, that's why im going about replacing the 02 sensors and cleaning my throttle body, etc. new plugs will help too, like i said. my 4.7 is supposed to get better mpg than the 318 but i see people on here saying they get more than me by far. i will do a few things to it and let you guys know. so once again, how much do you think 02 sensors will run me? thanks!

its the one pre cat that is bad if your getting bad mileage tho, engine side of the cat, just to clarify, controls the a/f ratio and how much gas you are burning
