throttle positioning sensor problem?

Default throttle positioning sensor problem?

okay so heres the deal. once in a while when i start the truck, itll idle around 2, and itll stick when i rev it.(gas pedal doesnt stick) checked the throttle cable, its fine, had the sensor checked, its at .6, .1 off, and i still have no clue what else it could be. should i just replace the sensor or ?? need some opinions here. thanks.

Sounds like a vacuum leak...

say varsis what shift kit did you use and how much did the rebuild cost?

Im not sure of the exact kit but I know it's a trans go. The rebuild cost me 1,500. Canadian. Like a year ago.. now I think. It kicks pretty hard. No problems yet. it changes how it drives dramatically though. It's a pretty good kit I think. I think it's like stage 1. I got it rebuilt here:

thanks for the info varsis. iam just trying to think ahead about someday needing a rebuild. but at 90000 miles i have been told to not put a kit in. but i think if its in good shape a kit might work. i have been putting two qts of rear end grease in the trans. been doing for years , seams to work fine. i think it gives a thicker oil which means longer life.
