I wrote a few week back about the air bag light going on and off on my 04 Dakota. Thanks to all the tips I got, I found the problem and repaired it. It was the clock spring. A $75. part but fairly easy to change. Thanks again to all who sent me the tips.

did your horn and cruise work normally during this time??

I don't have cruise so I couldn't check it.My horn worked when the light was on. I checked fuses and connections firstbut none of that worked. From reading this forum the clock spring was mentioned a lot so I thought I would take a chance andtry that. I'veput about 150 miles onsince I put the clock spring on and everything's working fine.
