Default manifold -> y-pipe bolts

Hey all, so lately I've been trying to get the O2 sensor off but no luck. After a few hours of stress and stripping it, it won't come loose. So next plan is taking off the y-pipe. However, I know I'll probably end up breaking the bolts, so does anyone know what kind of bolts are used on the connection?

I had to replace the bolts the connect the y pipe to the manifold. and I just ended up cutting them off. yours will probly be rusted too. I just took a air die grinder and zipped them off. and then just put some stainless bolts back in. and on these trucks they dont thread into the manifold so its alot easier to replace them.

oh so it's just a slide in and nut type of bolt? so dodge actually made removal of something a tad bit easier eh? lol...seems as tho all easy jobs aren't so easy with the Daks. Yea I was gonna go with stainless that'll make the future a hell of a lot easier. By the way...can anyone explain to me why I'm getting better gas mileage when the pre-cat O2 sensor is disconnected? That's just weird when I looked at the odometer and the gas gauge at the same time...

thats odd, you would think it would run rich and be worse on gas. and ya, its just a slide in bolt. I guess they made everything else hard to get at on these trucks that they gave us a brake with the exhuast bolts.

Lots of heatand a pipe wrench.
I had the opposite problem with my truck. The front one (the one I was worried about) came out easy. The post-catI stripped the head using conventional means. Heat and pipe wrench and it came out like... really easy.

Oh, and jonny, I used a sawz-all to cut the manifold-to-ypipe bolts. But I know exactly what your talking about.
