This isa1999 Dakota 3.9 that I bought off a friend a little more than a year ago because the engine expired. I was a lazy **** and took too long to swap the motor out with a junyard engine(Got it running lastOctober).

Anyway besides the engine I did everything else lastweekend and had it aligned.

Thanks for the help on the fornt wheel bearings!

Thanks!

Just a used 3.9, would have like to have done a 5.2 or 5.9 but was unsure of the complexity and wanted to use as my winter and daily beater so I could park the XJR and not accumulate too many miles on her.

.

looks good....i personally likeflares (i have a 4x4 QC Dakota).

awsome deal on the truck....you did very well on that.

I wouldn't mind finding a 2x4 Dakota like that and plop something like a turbo diesel in it.

EXCELLENT! $2000 and you have a verysound andgreat looking truck...way to go! this just proves that a person doesnt have to go hog wild spending money to have a good thing ... by the way, i might leave the flares off, it looks cleaner the way it is. if it was a 4x4 i would probably put them on, but i like it as is.
