2003 Doddge Dakota Quad-Cab 4x4 sport
4.7L V8, 545RFE 5-speed automatic. with trailer/tow package.
46,850 miles, $14,995.
The only things it doesnt have that i might likeare the anti-spin rear differential and the optional 3.92 gear ratio. But im thinking is that i can either do a full axel swap to get those or maybe just replace the insides of the axel's with those parts if i order them from the dealer.
But i did run it through carfax and no issues came up. It's even a 1-owner truck.
I also had some one that i know that works at a dealership in the Parts/Service department run the build sheet for me so i know what it has.
of the 8 vehicles i found on auto-trader that i liked, this one seems to be the best. And yes i ran all 8 through auto trader and had each build sheet pulled.

Seems kinda high, but if you negotiate a better deal and buy it, you may want to forget getting a factory posi rear end, their junk. "Read the posts on here". A aftermarket unit will be more durable, and cheaper.

I don't think the price is all that bad, depending upon where you are. Good mileage. If it's the truck you want, what the heck difference does a few hundred bucks make?
Check it to make sure all the recalls have been done - especially the ball-joints.
Mine is an '02, and has all the heavy duty stuff - tranny cooler, oil cooler, big alternator etc. and came with the 3.55 limited slip. If you can go see it, look at the label inside the glove box lid for diff specs.
It's the right color, anyway .......

As it stands now im looking into a loan. My credit is not an issue i just have to findlender with a intrest rate i like.
I have yet to start the price negotiation process with the dealer/seller.
The build sheet does list it as being equiped with the trailer/tow group. I'll look into what that includes.
