a downfiring sub will hit harder than an up-firing one, just keep that in mind

...THere is an MTX Thunderform for a single 10" but you lose the backrest parts of your seat on the smaller side...
for 2002-up Dodge Dakota Quad Cab

Speaker w/amp: http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...=113&avf=N

To nate and others, you DO NOT lose the back rest part of your rear seat. yes you have to remove the back to install it, but you put it back on after instaling the enclosure. They just took a picture of it with the back still off cause thats the only way you can see it.

BUT "When installed, the seat bottom will not flip up." thats the only down side.

Yes it's only a single 10" sub, but as long as you arnt trying to be a ghetto super-star, it should be fine. My old room mate had a single 10" or 12" sub in his Lumina. It was in a enclosure located in the trunk. IMO this was fine for normal every day listening. Even my 2 5.1 suround sound sstems in my house (1 for TV, one for comp) only have 1 10" sub.

I think i may end up getting one of these as i have no desire to be heard from a block away, lol
