That's probably the nicest 3rd gen I've seen, or close to anyway, IMO. I love that color and the wheels are really nice as well. More pictures?

Btw, I like it when people stray out of their subsection. Thanks Dakotaff

I'm always looking around, the Ram sections are great to browse around in too, as well as the Durango's. You can get ideas from all over.

Smile Bye Bye black fins, Hello more customized appearance

I came to the same conclusion today about the shadow from the fins. So I snipped the black fins right on out of there- took like 2 mins tops. I'm gonna rock the shiny mesh for now (I have two coats of enamel clear coat to prevent tarnishing), but I may go black in the future with it. Thanks for the input guys. I will also take a file to the little black nubs that are left from the fins.

Let me know what you think of the current setup:

Lookin' Good Rantz.

Remins me I still need to pop in the mesh on the valance, but I haven't quite figured out where to fasten it to.

how'd you do it?

It looks 100% better without the fins. I used a dremel to file down the nubs.

Default Mesh for the lower bumper

Right now, mine is only being held on by 6 zips. 4 on top and two on bottom. I was doing it late at night and my hand was sore from rubbing on the condenser.

I took a full piece of mesh and cut about 4 inches off of its length. Then I folded it in a shape like this:

Now there was a lip to hold it up top and one on the bottom.

I drilled 4 inconspicuous holes in the top of the openings of the bumper valance. I just used my judgement on the most discrete locations (I chose in the corners next to the vertical slits in the valance). Then I drilled 4 holes on the bottom, but only have used 2 so far because of the reasons mentioned above. I would like to see it better attached at the lower left and right edges where the curve is, but for now it works. It isn't going anywhere. I knew that nothing gets messed with down there so I wasn't as picky as with the grill.

If you need pics let me know and I can snap them with my phone.
