If you do this yourself, i recommend a transmission jack, will make your life a lot easier also set the truck on some sort of blocks, get it as high as you can if you have a hoist well use that but tranny removal on the floor PITA. Like mentioned above, but if you watch trucks i believe they rebuild standards pretty quick on there and give you a good overview...
