www.thefastman.com is where most of us got them from. other places are f&b i belive. dan has a great exchange program. do a search and see what comes up. i went with a 70 mm on my 4.7 because of the cam upgrades. but the 5.9 has a different style tb. dan would know at the fastman

Fastman = Stocker TB ported to 52mm and clips on top shaved off.

For the price of it.. not worth it. You can spend an extra 50$ or so and get a better flowing Holley or F&B TB.

I think fastman is 250 after you send him your Core TB so if you dont send in your core what is it? Like 320$ or somthing, havent checked in a while.

If your in no rush, constastly check Ebay, and other Dodge Forums..

they pop up alot, i got a 52mm BILLET Holley TB for 250$ Shipped to my house, thats cheaper then the fastman, and outflows it, and looks very sexy.

Check my Gallery for photos of the TB. Im not saying Dan's Custom Ported Jobs are bad, but spend an extra 50$ or so and you can get a nice one with better Flow ratings. But all in all its up to you.

While this topic is up, what does the holley, and F& B give you for gain on the 5.9? Low, top? both? ect...

Thanks
Chris

with the Stocker Intake Manifold you will notice top end power, highway passing ect..

Paired with the M-1 2bbl or 4bbl it helps from low to top, I had a 4bbl M-1 with a stock TB, switched it out and it was night and day diffrence on the highway.. it really woke the m-1 up.

I know you guys are talking about the 5.9 but I have a 03 QC with the 4.7L

would it be safe to say that with stock intake manifold and cams the fastman would be a decent upgrade.

But if any internal engine work is done go with a Holley or F&B TB.

User, do you know if valve covers like your are available for the 4.7?

Just a throttle body gasket, remove each sensor. Pretty simple actually Four studs/bolts hold it in. Thats it!
