replaced trans filter and fluids over the weekend. went through 3 seals for the pump, trying to install it. it just wouldn't snap in place when we tried to install it on the filter. we took the rubber/metal seal off and installed it seperately, but went through 3 of them before we were finally able to get it to snap in place.01 dakota qc 4.7l 4x4, i would recommend not taking that ring/seal off, i know they give u a brand new one with the filter, but it was just a pain in my arss. any way its done!!
