yes if you look at the throttle body, on the drivers sideyou will see two sensors. The top one is the tps, it takes two torques screws to pull it out once its out unplug the sensor, plug the new one in and screw it back in, its pretty simple.

Ok Finally had the chance to removeand replace the Throttle Position Sensor.

I changed the darn thing yesterday (05/30/08). Since then I have not had any issues what so ever. It seems as though this has done the trick. The car is running smother than ever.

The dealer wanted 95$ for the a new TPS. I purchased it from auto zone for 35$.

It is a very easy fix. 2 screws and that is it. I however. removed the airbox and sprayed everything down with carb cleaner.

Anyway I am good to go so far. I am dirving 450 miles tomorow (6/01/08) so I will post back if the car was OK all the way down to my destination.

Happy motoring all.

PS: I would appreciate if some folks would post some good comments on my photo gallary.

OK I am back from my drive.

I actually drove close too a 800 mile round trip and had absolutely "0" issues with RPM surge. NO surging at what ever speed I was driving no matter the driving conditions.

I can defitnately say this is a "100%" fix.

I hope this info helps somebody.
